Certified Flight Instructor (CFII/MEI)

Arapahoe Flight Club is growing and looking for passionate, professional Certified Flight Instructors (CFII) and Multi Engine Instructors (MEI) to join our team. We offer both Part 61 and Part 141 training, supporting students from Private Pilot through Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI).

As a flight instructor you will be responsible for instructing students in a classroom setting, conducting training flights, determining student proficiency, report on student progress and assisting the Chief Instructor and Assistant Chief Instructor as needed.

Requirements – Minimum

● High School Diploma or equivalent

● Current CFI-I (Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument)

● Current MEI (Multi Engine Instructor)

● Current Medical Certificate

● Available to work both Saturday and Sunday

● Willingness and availability to work full days and longer hours

● Currently located within driving distance of KCOS

Preferred Qualifications

● Strong 6-pack (analog) instrument instruction experience

● Strong G1000 Experience and TAA experience

● Actual IMC flight time

● Previous Part 141 instructional experience

● Previous flight instructing experience

Responsibilities

● Experience flying and/or instructing in PA-28 aircraft (Cherokees, Warriors, Archers), Diamond DA40 and Diamond DA42 aircraft.

● Conduct high-quality flight and ground instruction in accordance with AFC’s Standard Operating Procedures, FAA regulations (FAR/AIM), and safety best practices

● Maintain accurate student records and uphold professional standards

● Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment for students of all levels

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
