Certified High School Teacher / Online Tutor (Part-Time, Remote)

Job Description:

We are seeking certified high school teachers based in the United States to provide online tutoring and academic support to international students.

This is a part-time, contractor role with a flexible schedule. Sessions are typically 1–2 hours and conducted online.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver online tutoring sessions (1–2 hours per session)
• Prepare lesson materials in advance (slides, worksheets, etc.)
• Teach based on structured syllabus or student needs
• Support students with coursework and subject learning
• Provide interview preparation and writing support (brainstorming, editing)

Requirements:

• Valid U.S. Teaching License / Certification (required)
• Currently based in the United States
• Experience teaching high school students
• Strong English communication skills
• Comfortable teaching in an online environment
• Professional, reliable, and student-focused

Preferred:

• Experience with international or ESL students
• Prior tutoring or one-on-one teaching experience
• Familiarity with U.S. high school or AP curriculum

Pay:

$30.00 – $40.00 per hour
