Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

AVAILABLE IN BROWND MILLS, NJ AREA

MUST HAVE A CAR AND DRIVER'S LICENSE.

Flexible schedule 2 days a week (16 hours)

• Help with general light housekeeping, personal hygiene, dressing and maintaining a healthy and safe environment.
• Take client to appointments
• Must have good communication skills
• Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities
• Provide nutritional support to patients. (Preparing meals; feeding)
• Preform basic health care services for patients, including checking patients’ weight, vital signs, and documentation.
• Reminding patients to take medications.
• Assist patients with ambulation and exercise as appropriate.
• Work with RN, LVN and other caregivers to meet patient’s health care needs.
• Observe and report changes in patients’ condition to Nurse Supervisor / RN.
• Maintain status with HHA in-service training.
• Work with limited supervision.
• Other supportive services as assigned.
• Reports to HHA Liaison, HHA Supervisor then Director of Nursing.
• Ability to travel with patient to appointments, restaurants, and shopping

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
