CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDE CHHA

We are currently seeking a dependable, caring, and motivated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our team. In this role, you will provide personal care and support services to patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse or other healthcare professional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation.

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed.

• Monitor and report changes in the client's condition to nursing staff.

• Follow individualized care plans and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

• Document services provided according to Riverview’s policies and procedures.

• Travel to client homes or within the facility, depending on assignment.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience in home care or assisted living is a plus.

• Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently.

• Good communication skills and a professional, respectful demeanor.
