Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide to provide exceptional in-home care to clients with diverse needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by delivering personalized support and assistance in a variety of settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and community environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong patient observation skills, and familiarity with EMR/EHR charting systems. Certification as a Home Health Aide is required, along with a commitment to maintaining patient privacy and safety.

Duties

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions accurately using EMR/EHR systems
• Maintain detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Observe and report changes in patient health or behavior promptly to healthcare professionals
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive home & community care

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Experience working in home health, long-term care, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records management
• CPR certification required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are advantageous
• Ability to work independently while following care plans and protocols
• Strong communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Must pass background checks and adhere to all safety protocols including infection control standards

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
