Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) Per Diem

Job Overview
As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to individuals in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will assist clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and support their overall health needs. Pay: Per visit plus mileage reimbursement

Duties

• Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with meal preparation to ensure clients receive nutritious meals.
• Support clients with memory care activities to enhance cognitive function and engagement.
• Aid clients with mobility and physical assistance, including lifting when necessary.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Work collaboratively with families and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

• Knowledge of patient care techniques and systems related to home health services.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Physical ability to lift clients as needed and perform tasks that require standing for extended periods.
• Certification as a Home Health Aide
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as required.
