Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) / State Tested Nursing Aide (STNA)

Job Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or State Tested Nursing Aide (STNA) to provide in-home care and support to clients. In this role, you will assist individuals with daily activities, monitor their well-being, and help maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
This position is ideal for someone who is caring, patient, and committed to improving the quality of life for those they serve.
Responsibilities
Personal Care
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance and help with safe transfers
Daily Living Support
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Prepare simple, nutritious meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
Housekeeping
- Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and general cleaning
- Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
Health Monitoring
- Monitor client health
- Observe and report any changes in a client’s condition to the care team
Care Support
- Provide support for individuals receiving memory care, dementia care, or hospice care
- Use assistive equipment such as Hoyer lifts when needed
Documentation
- Document care provided and client updates accurately in EMR/EHR systems
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect client privacy
Skills & Qualifications
- Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate is required and must be provided, or a valid STNA license
- CPR certification is required
- Experience in home health care or long-term care preferred
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to assist with ADLs and mobility support
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR documentation systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a home care environment
