Job Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or State Tested Nursing Aide (STNA) to provide in-home care and support to clients. In this role, you will assist individuals with daily activities, monitor their well-being, and help maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.

This position is ideal for someone who is caring, patient, and committed to improving the quality of life for those they serve.

Responsibilities

Personal Care

  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Provide mobility assistance and help with safe transfers

Daily Living Support

  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Prepare simple, nutritious meals and assist with feeding if needed
  • Provide companionship and emotional support

Housekeeping

  • Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and general cleaning
  • Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment

Health Monitoring

  • Monitor client health
  • Observe and report any changes in a client’s condition to the care team

Care Support

  • Provide support for individuals receiving memory care, dementia care, or hospice care
  • Use assistive equipment such as Hoyer lifts when needed

Documentation

  • Document care provided and client updates accurately in EMR/EHR systems
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect client privacy

Skills & Qualifications

  • Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate is required and must be provided, or a valid STNA license
  • CPR certification is required
  • Experience in home health care or long-term care preferred
  • Strong communication and observation skills
  • Ability to assist with ADLs and mobility support
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR documentation systems is a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a home care environment
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable
