Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)- Toms River, NJ

Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Follow care plans and document patient progress
- Provide assistance with medical equipment, such as tube feeding or catheter care
- Ensure patient safety and maintain a clean and organized environment

We have LIVE INs , 12 hour shifts , 10 hour shifts , Overnights and Day shifts Available

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with assisted living, hospice care, or nursing home settings is a plus
- Knowledge of medical documentation procedures and HIPAA regulations is beneficial

Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate nature and ability to provide empathetic care
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in taking vital signs accurately
