Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, and property maintenance components to ensure operational efficiency.
- Utilize field service techniques to perform appliance repairs and mechanical maintenance on various equipment types.
- Operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical circuits and ensure proper functioning of HVAC/R systems.
- Perform welding and other mechanical repairs as needed to restore or improve equipment performance.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders promptly, and communicate effectively with team members and clients about system status and recommended solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in construction-related HVAC work.
- Valid certification as an HVAC technician with relevant licenses; additional certifications in refrigeration or ammonia refrigeration are highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, plumbing systems, and mechanical components.
- Hands-on experience with field service operations including appliance repair, property maintenance, boiler servicing, and equipment repair.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration units, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately and operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Mechanical aptitude complemented by welding skills and experience with various maintenance procedures.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred for site visits.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
