Certified Med tech/ Caregiver for Dementia Support

```Duties```

- Provide direct care and support to individuals with dementia , or individuals requiring assistance with daily activities

- Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules

- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices as needed

- Plan and engage in recreational activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation

- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary

- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and tidying up living spaces

- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in the individual's condition

```Requirements```

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred

- Knowledge of senior care with dementia is a plus

- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals who may have cognitive or physical challenges

- Ability to work independently and follow care plans effectively

- Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals

Must have nurse delegation certificate as well as mental health & dementia certification.

Must have NAC or HCA license

***THIS IS WEEKEND POSITIONS. MED TECH AND CG. ALSO POSITION FOR ANY SHIFTS THAT NEED COVERED. NO SPECIFIC SET TIMES. THE MED TECH IS WEEKEND NOC SHIFTS. FRI,SAT AND SUN 7PM-7AM. MUST HAVE NURSE DELEGATION CERTIFICATE

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
