Certified Med Tech (CMT) 2nd shift

• Passing med for 36 people, 2nd shift is light.
• Administer routine and as needed medications, either prescription or non-prescription, to patients daily.
• Coordinate with the nurse to assist with patient care and medications.
• Follow written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications.
• Able to work under pressure while maintaining safety.
• Record medication dosages, times and prn results
• Observe patients, document and report any changes in their condition.
• Gather and send samples to the lab for analysis when ordered.
• Uphold all health and safety standards.
• Able to recognize when meds are needed and reorder when necessary, follow through and ensure delivery.
• Respond to patient emergencies as per protocol.
• Ability to use intercom systems, to identify patient needs, to answer phones and take messages.
• Represent Darlington assisted living in a professional manner, always putting the needs of our residents first.
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to work as a team player
• FLEXIBILITY to pick up shifts as needed.
• Patience and understanding for geriatric patients and patients with mental illnesses

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
