Job Description

My Wy Pediatrics is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant. This position is responsible for the monitoring of patients, the preparation of the exam rooms, and the general duties of the office. This position will be responsible for all aspects of patient care including, but not limited to: checking in patients, screening them for medications, administering injections, and collecting specimens. This position will also be responsible for all duties within the office such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining the office cleanliness. Spanish speaking is a plus.

Schedule

We are currently looking for a full-time employee to start on Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm. With availability to close office 2 days a week at 7 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities
·Check in patients and verify insurance information.
·Schedule patients for their appointments.
·Collect specimens and documents.
·Maintain inventory of supplies and place orders as needed.
·Maintain the exam rooms by cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the exam room appearance.
·Answer phones and schedule patient appointments.
·Maintain the facility by performing other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
