Certified Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Escort patients throughout the office as needed.
• Perform routine patient check-in procedures, including patient work-ups and new patient history.
• Prepare examination rooms to include cleaning and restocking of supplies.
• Handle phone messages for physicians and nurses and make calls to obtain information from hospitals, labs, other physician offices and ancillary departments for each patient’s medical record.
• Willingness to assist Providers, Nurses and Front Office Specialists as needed.

Qualifications * Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare related field

Limited X-Ray Machine Operator Permit for Mississippi, Preferred (Not Required).

• Excellent organizational skills; required.
• Working knowledge of basic computers and computer software; required.

Salary: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
