Certified Medical Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support our clinical and procedural team. This role is heavily focused on post-operative patient care, procedure room preparation, sterilization, and maintaining an exceptional standard of clinical cleanliness and safety.

The CMA will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and surgical support through post-operative monitoring, room turnover, procedure setup, and strict adherence to infection control standards.

Duties

• Monitor post-operative patients and document vital signs
• Assist provider during in-office procedures as directed
• Prepare procedure rooms prior to cases (instruments, supplies, equipment)
• Break down and reset rooms after procedures
• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of treatment and procedure rooms
• Follow sterilization protocols for instruments and equipment
• Maintain OSHA and infection control standards
• Stock and manage clinical inventory
• Ensure all rooms meet presentation standards before patient arrival
• Support clinical flow and assist team as needed

Experience

• Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Prior clinical or procedural experience preferred
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and infection control
• Ability to remain calm and focused in procedural settings
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Professional, polished demeanor
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.45 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
