Certified Medical Assistant

Some duties include:

-Answering telephones and attending to patient's and they're families.

-Recording information in the electronic health system

-Obtaining vital signs and medical histories

-Preparing patient for examination and explaining treatment procedures to patient's, assisting during diagnostic procedures, arranging for hospital admission and laboratory services.

-Administering medications, immunization and injections

-Collect and prepare specimen of bodily fluids and tissues for testing or perform basic laboratory tests in the office lab.

-Disposal of medical wastes, sterilize medical instruments and keep waiting and examination rooms clean.

*Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee.

Education:

Certified Medical Assistant Certificate

Experience:

Experience in Pediatrics is preferred, but not required.
