Certified Medical Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant who is also bilingual in Spanish to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various medical and spa settings. This position requires a compassionate individual who is committed to supporting both patients and team members in delivering exceptional services.

Bilingual is a must!! Other candidates will not be considered at this time.

Duties

• Perform basic life support and emergency medicine procedures as needed.
• Taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Administer medications and injections under the supervision of a physician or nurse.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate patient services, ensuring timely follow-up appointments and lab orders.
• Collaborate with team members in a Spa setting.

Experience

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly in Primary care setting.
• Comfortable giving IM injections and IV insertion.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment are essential.
• Experience in patient service roles will be considered a plus.
