Duties

• Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to assist clinicians in assessment
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort
• Assist with clinical tasks like administering medications, drawing X-rays, and supporting minor procedures in outpatient or inpatient settings
• Operate EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems efficiently to document patient information, ICD coding, and treatment plans
• Support physicians with anatomy and physiology knowledge during examinations or procedures
• Medical Notes preparation and assistingthe physician.
• Manage medical supplies inventory and ensure proper sterilization of equipment used in OR or trauma center environments

Skills

• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding standards
• Experience working in dermatology clinics, hospital medicine units, urgent care centers, or Level I/II trauma centers
• Proficiency with EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling and documentation
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and basic life support (BLS) certification required
• Hands-on experience with X-ray equipment or emergency medicine procedures is highly desirable
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced outpatient or inpatient environments including Geriatrics, Medical-surgical units, PICU, or OR settings
• Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
