Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, medical histories, and documenting relevant information accurately.
• Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as administering injections, collecting specimens, and performing EKGs under supervision.
• Manage administrative duties including scheduling appointments, updating patient records, returning patient cases and calls and handling correspondence efficiently.
• Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of medical instruments and treatment areas to comply with health regulations.
• Educate patients on medication instructions, post-treatment care, and health maintenance practices with clarity and empathy.
• Support inventory management by tracking medical supplies and notifying staff of stock levels to prevent shortages.

Experience

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required; certification must be current.
• Prior experience working in a clinical setting is preferred, with demonstrated proficiency in both clinical and administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and basic laboratory procedures is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and infection control protocols is highly desirable.
