LIV Health is hiring for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Mental Health Urgent Care Clinic in Fort Collins CO.

LIV Health is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Mental Health Urgent Care Team. In this role, you will work closely with our psychiatric providers to support the delivery of high-quality patient care. We are looking for a professional with relevant clinical experience, strong medical knowledge, and excellent time management skills. Additionally, a firm understanding of OSHA standards regarding sterilization and disinfection is required for this position.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Qualifications include:

• at least one year of medical assistant experience and have experience administering injections and lab draws
• a current BLS certificate
• must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/CCMA/RMA)

Job Duties: This position is responsible for patient flow and the needs of the providers.

Medical Assistants are an extension of the providers and assist with clinical and administrative tasks related to the needs of the patient.

Duties Include:

• Preparing patients for appointments, updating medical history
• Recording vitals
• Experience working with various EHR/EMR systems
• Recording current medications and allergies
• Clean and prepare patient rooms, including connecting and maintaining remote appointment equipment
• Answering phone calls, scheduling and coordinating psychiatric appointments and medication refills
• Labs draws and coordination of labs, including documentation of results
• Administering injections
• Obtaining medical records
• Assisting providers and patients with needs while in the clinic
