Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various medical settings. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and supporting healthcare professionals in delivering effective treatment. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing clinical tasks, assisting with patient management, and ensuring the smooth operation of the medical office.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare provider with patient examinations and procedures.
• Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Administer medications as directed by physicians and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and answering questions.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic imaging as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical office and examination rooms.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up visits.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
• Support the team in various settings such as emergency medicine, internal medicine, or medical-surgical units.

Requirements

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience in dermatology is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to various specialties.
