Summary

Kuakini Health System is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a 13-week contract assignment in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role requires a dependable and flexible professional who can work rotating day and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays, while supporting high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care, examinations, and procedures
• Prepare patients for exams and collect vital signs and medical history
• Perform clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in Cerner EMR
• Support a safe, clean, and organized clinical setting
• Provide excellent patient care and teamwork across departments

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Minimum 4 years of Medical Assistant experience
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week
• Comfortable working rotating shifts, weekends
• Required Certifications:
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP
• ATT
