We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing high-quality patient care. Experience in endocrinology is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Intake-Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists reconciliation
- Assist providers during with day-to-day flow, examinations and procedures
- Administer injections, medications, and perform phlebotomy as needed
- Manage patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system; Athenahealth is a plus
- Handle patient communications, including phone calls, messages, and follow-ups
- Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and lab coordination
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment
Qualifications:
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred but not required
- Previous clinical experience preferred; endocrinology experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, team-oriented, and professional
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
