Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to assist clinicians in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Assist with clinical procedures, including medication administration, and basic life support when necessary
• Support patient service efforts by providing clear communication, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
• Able to draw bllod and process labs.
• Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining steps and ensuring proper positioning in outpatient or inpatient settings

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program; additional certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
• Proven experience in clinical environments such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or emergency medicine settings
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and pharmacology to support accurate patient assessment and care
• Experience working in specialized areas such as dermatology, geriatrics, internal medicine, or Level I/II trauma centers is highly desirable
• Ability to perform clinical tasks including vital signs collection, medication administration, drawing labs, and patient intake procedures confidently
• Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations across outpatient and inpatient care settings

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
