**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in delivering quality patient care and assisting healthcare providers in a clinical setting.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform patient intake procedures, including measuring vital signs and documenting medical histories.

- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.

- Administer medications under the direction of a physician.

- Conduct basic laboratory tests as needed.

- Provide medical administrative support, including returning patient phone calls, filling prescriptions and maintaining patient records.

- Ensure compliance with medical protocols and regulations for patient care.

- Uphold a high standard of patient service and professionalism.

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in basic life support techniques.

- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and coding practices.

- Experience in medication administration and dosage calculations.

- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members.

- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is required.

Requirements:

  • Must have active certification
  • Must have 1-2 years prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting strongly required. Resume submitted with no medical experience will not be reviewed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
