Certified Medical Assistant

Job description

Located in Boca Raton, our busy primary care practice is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant with experience interested in working in a team environment, with a stable patient population to provide better care and better health.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain all EMR records
• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history to each appointment
• Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
• Assist the nurse and office manager in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed
• Proficient Phlebotomy and lab handling requirements

Requirements

• Ability to handle medical records discreetly
• Knowledge of medical issues and terminology
• Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situation
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientated
• 2+ years of experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital
• familiar with eClinicalWorks
• Certified Medical Assistant is a plus

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
