Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. Your expertise will support physicians and healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative duties that ensure smooth clinic operations and outstanding patient experiences in a private Internal Medicine setting. Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories, vital signs, and documenting symptoms accurately in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Assist with clinical examinations, perform EKG's.
• Support medication administration under supervision, including injections.
• Manage administrative tasks like appointment scheduling, ICD coding for diagnoses, and maintaining accurate medical records, outstanding documentation skills.
• Uphold infection control standards and ensure compliance.

Experience

• Prior experience working in outpatient clinics or hospital environments.
• Preference to those with EClinical Works experience.
• BLS certification is required.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
