Fox Ridge Medical Associates LLC is a private internal medicine practice.

Full-Time position for a certified medical assistant in a small, busy, and growing private practice.

Duties will include: rooming patients, taking vitals, drawing blood, administering vaccines, processing lab specimens, creating lab requisitions, calling patients regarding lab results, answering patient questions/concerns, etc.

The position will also require the ability to multi-task. Patient satisfaction is our goal, and that encompasses all patient interactions. As such, the position will require the ability to maintain a pleasant demeanor in a variety of circumstances.

Hours for the office are Monday 6:45 - 3:00 pm, Tuesday 6:45 - 5:00 pm, Wednesday 6:45 - 3:00 pm, Thursday 6:45 - 3:00 pm and Friday 6:45 - 12:00 pm. Medical assistants are required to be ready by 6:55 am and hours are subject to change.

Requirements:

• Comfortable in patient services role and on the telephone
• Phlebotomy experience
• Medical assistant certification
• Willingness to learn and comply with all appropriate regulations including HIPAA and HITECH. Willingness to follow through and handle a variety of requests
