Certified Medical Assistant

Center for Family Development, a behavioral health center, seeks a part-time (20 hours/week) Certified Medical Assistant. CFD’s psychiatric and medical services are growing, and we are searching for a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team!

• Experience in a behavioral health setting (preferred).
• Proficiency in use of computers (electronic health records, MS Office, etc.) essential.

Job duties include:

• Working alongside a team of medical assistants,
• performing injections,
• maintaining medical inventory,
• managing and coordinating multiple schedules- provider, medication sessions, injections
• triaging phone calls and patient requests,
• collecting urine samples,
• completing provider orders,
• processing medication prior authorization requests,
• preparing for next day scheduled patients,
• monitoring on-site medication treatment sessions,
• backing up other medical assistants as needed,
• other related clinical support duties.

Successful completion of background check required upon hire.

Competitive annual salary dependent on experience. Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits (eligible on 1st of the month following 30 days worked), paid time off (PTO) including sick time, plus holidays.
