Certified Medical Assistant

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our integrated healthcare team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong leadership mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of patient outcomes. The CMA serves as a key member of the patient care team, supporting chiropractors, rehabilitation staff, and medical providers while ensuring patients receive exceptional care and guidance throughout their treatment plans.

Essential Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Support

  • Assist providers with patient care, examinations, and treatment preparation.
  • Escort patients through their treatment plan and ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns to providers promptly.
  • Educate patients on treatment protocols and reinforce provider recommendations.
  • Assist with patient mobility, positioning, and therapeutic exercises as directed.

Patient Compliance & Retention

  • Build strong relationships with patients to encourage treatment plan adherence.
  • Help patients understand the importance of completing their care plans.
  • Identify barriers to treatment compliance and proactively address concerns.
  • Support patient retention and wellness conversion initiatives.

Leadership & Accountability

  • Take ownership of patient flow and clinic efficiency.
  • Lead by example through professionalism, urgency, and a positive attitude.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new team members.
  • Identify operational challenges and recommend solutions.
  • Support clinic goals through strong communication and teamwork.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate patient documentation.
  • Ensure treatment areas remain clean, organized, and prepared.
  • Assist with scheduling coordination and patient follow-up when needed.
  • Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and all clinic compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Current CMA certification.
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred.
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred.
  • Experience in chiropractic, physical medicine, rehabilitation, orthopedic, or integrated healthcare settings is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
