Busy Family Practice Office in Louisville seeking outgoing full time Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

Our office has a need for a Certified Medical Assistant. We are seeking a full-time experienced certified medical assistant for busy fast-paced family practice with several medical providers.

Responsibilities and Duties

Duties include but are not limited to: rooming patients, vitals, point of care testing, EKG, medication refill, immunization administration, assist provider with procedures, suture removal, stocking rooms and supplies, and other medical assistant duties as assigned. Work schedule varies depending on provider’s schedule.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal Certified Medical Assistant will be self-motivated and a go getter. You will need to be highly organized, self-motivated and able to manage your time effectively. Being flexible to the environment, the providers’ and patients’ needs will be a must along with being a team player who is not afraid to jump in and help when and where you can.

Requirements

· Medical Assistant Certification required.

· Graduate of a Medical Assistant training program through an accredited school.

· Certified as a Medical Assistant through a state or national certification association.

· One to two years' of medical office experience required.

· Ideal candidate will maintain professionalism while working in a fast-paced environment

· Exceptional communication

· Have the ability to multi-task and prioritize

· Professional appearance

· Strong communication skills

· Epic experience highly desirable

· Positive and Energetic personality

· Need to have good work ethic

· Be reliable and be a team player

Job Type: Full-time

· Weekly hours range between 36-40 hours depending on patient’s need. Position does require one late night from 11:30-8pm and one Saturday from 9am-12pm every 8 weeks.

Salary: Compensation negotiable based on experience level. Range is $19-$25 to start and negotiable based on level of experience.
