Job Description:

Assisting in OR, which includes but is not limited to gathering necessary equipment and supplies and establishing and maintaining a sterile field.

• Ability to perform the role of an OR circulator which includes. monitoring vitals, completing the OR surgical record, opening sterile items intraoperatively, and bandaging the patient postoperatively
• Handle and properly document specimens.
• Educate the patient on aftercare instructions.
• Transport the patient to and from operating room.
• Mechanical cleaning of instrumentation, wrapping trays, and sterilization of instruments.
• Order supplies for the office and the OR.
• Clean exam rooms after use.
• Wound care including cleaning and evaluating surgical site, applying bandages, and suture removal.
• Document each patient visit by writing a note covering the reason the patient came in and what was done.
• Assist the surgeon with injectables including gathering necessary supplies, having patient sign consent forms and quotes, and taking photos of the patient

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
