Certified Medical Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team.

Duties

• Assist with patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories, vital signs, and current medications using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Support physicians and nurses with clinical tasks such as medication administration, specimen collection, wound dressing changes, and basic physiology assessments
• Perform EHR documentation accurately, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures to ensure proper billing and record-keeping
• Qualifications
• Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program is required
• Proven experience in outpatient clinics preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration essential
• Familiarity with EHR systems and medical-surgical workflows necessary for efficient documentation and patient management
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care required

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
