Certified Medical Assistant

REQUIRED: Active Medical Assistant Certification on WA Department of Health site.

Candidates without an ACTIVE certification will not be considered.

We are looking to add another Certified Medical Assistant to our dynamic dermatology practice! We have been in the Burien area for 29 years delivering quality medical and aesthetic services to our community. We specialize in clinical dermatology, Mohs surgery, light therapy, cosmetic and laser treatments. Our clinic also houses an onsite laboratory and a fully equipped medical spa.

We thrive in a fast-paced setting and need a highly organized multitasker who can prioritize and efficiently manage their workload.

Qualified candidates must have an endlessly positive attitude and be detail oriented.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients
• Managing patient flow/triage
• Scribing for providers in our EMR system (ModMed EMA)
• Assisting providers with exams and surgical procedures
• Assessing and responding to prescription refill requests
• Preparing exam rooms for office visits and surgical procedures
• Scheduling appointments and addressing patient phone calls appropriately
• Providing patient education and post-operative care instructions
• Medication Prior Authorizations

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Experience:
