Summary

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Vine Family Medicine. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring smooth operations within our practice. Your contributions will directly impact patient care and overall clinic efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Measure and record vital signs accurately.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical history and relevant information.
• Administer basic life support when necessary and assist in emergency situations.
• Manage patient records, including coding and billing information.
• Coordinate patient flow to ensure timely appointments and reduce wait times.
• Perform routine laboratory tests.

Requirements

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
• Strong knowledge of internal medicine practices and emergency medicine protocols.
• Proficient in measuring vital signs and basic life support techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
