Our clinics offer walk-in access for a wide range of acute illnesses, injuries, and preventative services. We’re looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who is passionate about patient care and eager to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Position Overview

The Certified Medical Assistant will play a dual role — supporting both clinical and front desk operations. This individual will assist providers with patient care, perform routine clinical tasks, and also help with administrative duties such as patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification.

We’re seeking someone dependable, organized, and enthusiastic about learning all aspects of urgent care operations.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties:

  • Greet and prepare patients for examination and treatment.
  • Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
  • Assist providers with exams, procedures, and diagnostic testing.
  • Perform in-office tests such as EKGs, rapid tests, and specimen collection.
  • Administer injections, medications, and vaccines per provider instruction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinical areas.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR system.

Front Desk / Administrative Duties:

  • Greet patients and check them in for visits.
  • Verify insurance, collect copayments, and update patient records.
  • Answer phone calls and assist with scheduling and inquiries.
  • Support patient registration, billing, and medical record requests.
  • Coordinate communication between clinical and administrative teams.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
  • Prior experience in an urgent care or primary care setting preferred.
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to learn and perform both front desk and clinical functions.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Flexible schedules available (Full-time or Part-time).
  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
