Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Orthopedic office looking to add 1 FULL TIME MA. Certification not necessary but at least 1 year MA experience needed. Job requirements: Reliability, integrity, flexibility and ready to learn new treatment plans. This is a Full-time position and is Monday - Friday. Excellent benefit package and paid time off. Summary

As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care and administrative support within our healthcare team. Reporting to the supervising physician, you will utilize your core skills in medical terminology, patient service, and EHR systems to assist in patient intake and vital sign assessments. Your premium expertise in healthcare will enhance our service offerings, while your relevant experience in various medical settings, including trauma centers and outpatient clinics, will ensure comprehensive care for our patients. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical administrative support, including patient intake and managing electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Assist in patient care by taking vital signs and ensuring patient comfort during visits.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Deliver exceptional patient service in various settings.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care and support for patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Orthopedics: 1 year (Required)
• Pain management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Phlebotomy: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical Assistant : 2 years (Required)

Language:

• Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CCMA Certification (Preferred)
