Certified Medical Assistant/ LPN

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant or LPN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and two years of office experience (peds preferred) The Certified Medical Assistant or LPN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our pediatric patients and their families.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Take and record vital signs accurately.
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards.
• Perform basic laboratory tests as needed.
• Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Manage patient flow within the office to optimize efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans and follow-up appointments.

Requirements

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
• Licensed LPN
• Current office setting experience is preferred, particularly in pediatrics.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficiency in taking vital signs and performing basic clinical procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate patient care demands.
