Certified Medical Assistant/ LPN

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
• Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment to promote patient safety and comfort.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality care in urgent care scenarios.
• Utilize knowledge of physiology to assist in the assessment of patients' health conditions.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
• Previous experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and medication administration protocols.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and teamwork.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus. eClinicalWorks.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
