Position Summary
We are a small, patient-focused family practice seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or LPN. This role supports providers in delivering high-quality care and ensures efficient clinic operations. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a close-knit team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints
- Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures
- Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed
- Educate patients on medications, treatments, and preventive care
- Perform basic lab procedures (e.g., phlebotomy, urine testing, rapid tests)
- Manage patient flow to maintain an efficient schedule
- Update and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
- Handle phone calls, patient questions, and prescription refill requests
- Clean and stock exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and care coordination
Qualifications
- Current CMA certification (AAMA or equivalent) or LPN
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1+ year of experience in a clinic setting preferred (family practice a plus)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with EMR systems

- Direct patient interaction across all age groups
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
