Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake procedures including collecting comprehensive medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
• Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as medication administration and wound care.
• Maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Manage patient flow efficiently by scheduling appointments coordinating follow-up care.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Medical Assistant or licensure as an LPN or RN with current state licensing.
• Proven experience in an internal medicine setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately assist in patient assessments.
• Experience working with EHR systems, specifically Eclinical Works.
• Ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, phlebotomy (A MUST), injections and wound care.
• Excellent patient service skills with compassionate communication and professionalism at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.97 - $28.87 per hour

Expected hours: 80 per week
