Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and responses to medication or treatments using electronic health record (EHR)
• Assist residents or patients with activities of daily living, including mobility, hygiene, and nutrition support
• Maintain detailed medical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
• Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed accurately

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Certified Medication Technician (CRMA) or equivalent credential
• Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication administration protocols
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical records management
• Compassionate caregiving skills with a focus on patient safety and dignity

Pay: $21.00 per hour
