Certified Medication Technician/Caregiver

Bel Air Assisted Living is currently seeking a Certified Medication Technician and Caregiver to join our team. Working at Bel Air Assisted Living is different from working at a large, commercial facility. Applicants must have 2nd shift availability (3p-11p) and every other weekend availability.

CMTs are required to provide both medication administration and assistance with ADLs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Maryland Med Tech Certification required.
• CNA/GNA preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required.
• Flu Vaccine required.
• Skills in nurturing and organizing similar to those in a domestic household.
• Experience or interest in working with older adults.
• Maturity, friendliness and enjoyment in working with people.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language.
• Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility, which include a medical/physical examination as well as drug screening.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents and assist in their evacuation in an emergency.
• Ability to stand and move intermittently throughout the entire shift.
• Must be able to push, pull, move or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 4 feet and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum of 100 feet.
• Specific duties as directed by shift outlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.26 - $22.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Elder Care: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR/First Aid (Required)
• Certified Medication Technician in Maryland (Required)

Shift availability:
