Burr Ridge Birth Center is a free-standing birth center providing full-spectrum midwifery care in Illinois.

Join us as the 4th midwife of this close-knit team providing community birth services! The ideal candidate is a licensed Certified Nurse Midwife who is passionate about community birth settings and providing holistic, trauma informed care.

New graduate midwives may be considered!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master or Doctorate Degree in Nursing
• Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
• Active RN and APRN licenses in the State of Illinois (or Pending)
• Meets continuing competency criteria of Illinois and AMCB
• Current NRP and BLS certifications
• Committed to a trauma-informed approach to care

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / QUALITIES

• At least 1 year of midwifery experience
• Waterbirth experience
• Previous community birth setting experience
• Prioritizes safety and client/family experience

HOURS

• Two 8hr clinic days per week
• One 24hr call day per week
• Rotating weekend call shifts per month

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
