Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist Assistant(CRNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of anesthesia procedures, patient assessment, and perioperative care, with a strong commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence. As an integral part of our anesthesia services, you will support anesthesiologists in delivering safe, effective anesthesia care across diverse clinical settings, including surgical suites, outpatient clinics, and critical care units. Responsibilities

  • Assist anesthesiologists in developing and implementing anesthesia plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring optimal outcomes.
  • Prepare and administer anesthesia medications, including injections and IV infusions, following strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
  • Monitor vital signs, oxygenation levels, and other physiological parameters during procedures utilizing advanced monitoring systems such as Epic EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and Cerner platforms.
  • Support airway management efforts, including intubation and ventilator management, across various clinical settings such as Level I and Level II trauma centers, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), and surgical theaters.
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, patient assessments, and diagnostic evaluations to inform anesthesia strategies.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Participate in clinical research studies related to anesthesia techniques or pain management innovations such as botulinum toxin treatments or dermal fillers.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by collecting data on patient outcomes and procedural efficacy in accordance with NCQA standards.

Requirements

  • Certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant with valid licensure in the respective state or region.
  • Demonstrated experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; proficiency in ICD-10/ICD-9 coding is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology related to anesthesia care, and medical terminology.
  • Experience supporting critical care environments including ICU (Intensive Care Unit), emergency room settings, trauma centers (Level I & II), and surgical theaters.
  • Familiarity with advanced airway management techniques, ventilator operation (including neonatal ventilators), and acute pain management protocols.
  • Ability to perform medical procedures such as suturing, phlebotomy, gastric lavage, spinal taps, and radiation therapy assistance when necessary.
  • Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to manage complex cases involving infectious disease care or hospice & palliative medicine.
  • Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes related to anesthesia services; experience with telehealth platforms is a plus.
  • Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance while managing sensitive medical records and data collection efforts for research or clinical trials. Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per day
