Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) to join our cardiology healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide advanced clinical care across diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and long-term care facilities. Your expertise will support patient-centered treatment plans, perform comprehensive assessments, and deliver high-quality medical services to a broad patient population. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical histories, ensuring accurate diagnostic evaluation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and injections, including botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers, following established protocols and safety standards.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions across specialties such as geriatrics, pediatrics, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and behavioral health.
• Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, spinal taps, catheterizations, IV infusions, phlebotomy, and airway management.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for documentation, order entry, and patient data management.
• Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner with current licensure in the state of practice.
• Proven experience working in diverse clinical settings such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, diagnostic evaluation techniques (including sonography), and CPT coding for billing purposes.
• Hands-on experience with advanced procedures like dermal fillers, Botox treatments (botulinum toxin), spinal taps, tube feeding management, and sterile processing techniques.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for efficient patient documentation.
• Critical care experience including ICU or emergency room work is highly preferred; experience in telehealth is a plus.
• Ability to work with diverse populations including children, seniors with memory or dementia care needs, individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.
• Excellent patient assessment skills combined with strong communication abilities to educate patients on health coaching and treatment options. Pay: $59,627.36 - $71,809.29 per year
