Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant or Personal Care Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, including catheter care, NG feeding and medication reminders.
• Support patients with mobility needs using equipment like wheel chair and Hoyer lifts.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Document patient information accurately in according to the template given.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and progress.
• Assist in transporting patients to their doctor’s appointments as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills in areas such as dementia care, first aid certification, and critical care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Georgia CNA or PCA or HHA training program preferred.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Assistant is highly desirable.
• Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or in-home care settings is preferred; familiarity with geriatrics or pediatrics is a plus.
• Knowledge of First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) is essential.
• Proficiency in medical documentation is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring memory care.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating compassion and empathy towards patients.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
