Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Must have Home Health Experience .In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals across various settings, hospitals, assisted living communities, and home care environments. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in supporting clinical staff, ensuring safety, and fostering a nurturing environment for patients of all ages and needs.

Duties

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices.
  • Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; accurately document findings in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
  • Support medical procedures including catheter care, medication administration under supervision, phlebotomy, and aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards.
  • Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory care residents, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams in acute care settings like Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers, ICU units, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or emergency departments to deliver timely patient service.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of medical records and documentation.
  • Assist with patient transfers using proper techniques and equipment; support post-acute care and rehabilitation efforts in sub-acute or outpatient settings.

Qualifications

  • Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) recognized by the state or relevant licensing authority.
  • Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU or emergency medicine), nursing homes, hospice care, or home & community care settings.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms for medical documentation.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and basic life support (BLS).
  • Prior experience with specialized patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health patients, or those requiring dementia or Alzheimer's care is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting with Hoyer lifts and working with individuals who have disabilities or require mobility assistance.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and provide compassionate patient service. Join us in making a meaningful difference every day! Pay: $12.50 - $22.00 per hour
