Nursing Assistant Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will know how to operate a hoyer lift.

Location is off Austell road in Marietta and position is currently part-time from 9 am - 1pm Monday through Friday.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
• Assist with mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and progress
• Support patients with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and memory care as needed
• Participate in the implementation of individualized patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information

Experience
Candidates should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:

• *Experience with Hoyer Lift Preferred*
• Long-term care experience or assisted living facilities
• Nursing home experience or hospice care
• Working with people with developmental disabilities
• Basic life support certification

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
