Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care and assistance with activities of daily living while ensuring the health, safety, dignity, and comfort of every resident.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, turning, and positioning
• Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake and output
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests
• Observe and report changes in resident condition
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality (HIPAA compliant)
• Follow all company policies and federal/state regulations
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development
• Perform additional duties as assigned
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Illinois CNA certification
• Minimum age of 18
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Long-term care experience preferred (but not required for the right candidate!)
  
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Ability to meet the physical and communication demands of resident care
• Moderate noise work environment
