Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Caregiver/med tech

Job Description:

Small Town Senior Living and The Courtyard is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and/or Caregivers to join our team. Our facility provides exceptional care to our residents, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and making a positive difference in their lives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Help residents with mobility and transfers, including the use of assistive devices.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to administrative staff.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensuring residents’ nutritional needs are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including light housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with medication reminders and administration as directed by administrate/nursing staff.
• Participate in resident activities and encourage social engagement.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification (for CNA positions).
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and staff.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care plans.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform the tasks required, including lifting and transferring residents.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must have excellent work ethic and dependability.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
